- Contacting people I know that could have a job opportunities for me (Networking is awesome!!)

- Contacting University of Nebraska at Omaha Social Work program to see where I am standing if I transfer there this coming up fall. (Will find out this week or so)

- Working on songs for children for coming up Missionary Trip to Dominican Republic

- Catching up on projects that I have been putting aside for too long! (will post for sure)

- Waiting very patiently to hear from Unemployment Benefit to see what I am eligible for till i find a job

- Meeting up with friends that I have not seen for awhile.

- Lastly is study God's words daily to keep up with my faith.

Have been praying on everything I have done lately, because I want to walk with the Lord and do it in his will not mine. <><

Testimony of Being Laid Off

It has been over a week since was informed that I had been laid off. Even had to go into work for the last week till Friday the 16th which was my offical last day at the company. There were lot of ups and downs during the week and of course awkward but we all worked together as a team to get through this.

The Lord absolutely worked with me during that time. I decided to take a step back and put all my trust in him. I prayed and prayed to help me to figure out what to do next and want to do it in his way not mine.

Verse that applies to this: Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; ~Proverbs 3:5

I noticed he had gave me guide in many ways. For example, I was looking for job in Rochester, Salt Lake City, and Omaha. While was on indeed.com for Rochester, I didn't feel peace and something was not right, so decided to change location to Omaha. While was looking for job there, I felt more peace and so many more ideas came up. I.e Contacting people I know there that can help me discover a job, places that I know I can look into here. However, I was concerned about schooling while was praying about that Lord had reminded me that University of Omaha has social work program that I could finish up my degree at. From those thoughts, I knew the Lord was helping me to move onto new Chapter with my life!

"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." ~Psalms 32:8

On the other hand, was worried about financial, would I be able to find job on time to afford my rent, gas, and food if unemployment benefit is not enough. The Lord had again reminded me that I have family back home which I can stay for free till I find a job and move on my own. Those things really made me realize the Lord is starting to open things up for me and helping me through.

My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. ~Philippian 4:19

Honest with you I've never had a interesting testimony what Lord had been doing for me. I was praying and thinking to myself wondering what the possibility why God decide to let this happen. For one reason that tops my head is that I LOVED the job more than HIM. Which was a mistake (sin) and it disappointed God because I just went with my own life and really happy, even grateful for a great job that I really ENJOYED! In the bible it said ....

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." ~Matthew 6:33

... that verse is when it hit me hard that I didn't seek his kingdom first, I seek my own kingdom first. That shows me the bible is telling the truth because it is happening to me right now!

Right now, I am taking day by day and importantly trust the Lord. Even, he knew who I am before I was born and knows what is the best for me down the road.

"Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land." ~Psalm 37:34

Going through this in the past week and today made me to be more honorable to be Jesus Follower (Born-again/Christian).

You've Been Laid Off....

Right now am totally in a shock this is really happening to me and world is up down side. I absolutely do not know what to do without Lord's help.

Friday night (3/9/12) after my shift my boss called me on video phone at work to info me the company is hurting financial and had to make a HUGE cut. I didn't think it would impact me, maybe just my hours being cut. Then she told me most of us would be laid off and I was one of them. I thought it was a dream at first, it took awhile for me to collect myself and realize it's for real. My boss was not looking good at all herself, was very sad and started to cry, then I started to have tears. I knew my loyal, heart, and hard work into this company had come to end.

Even I totally thought this job would help me last till after my last year of school for Bachelors degree, however, that didn't happen.  This is a huge hit for me, now I completely understand how unemployment people are feeling right now. I think age doesn't matter when you got laid off, and am only 24 but am at the point where was hoping to have a job to help finish up my last year of my Bachelors degree. In addition, possible help me out while taking my masters degree and seek for a secure and stable job.

I admit i made a huge mistake- I didn't look up to the Lord, even my Boss is a Jesus Follower just alike myself, told me while on the phone with me, "God has better plan for you and he know the best for you." After we end the phone call, how did I reaction after the call- Did I pray right away? NO. Did I asked for help from him? NO. Was I mad at him? Yes. Did I read the bible that night? NO. Those questions had made me realize I should of looked up to him the first thing and have FAITH in him, then maybe I would handle it better, which I didn't. Instead of FREAK out and text my parents and friends, I am a human I can't be prefect, even do not have strong relationship with God right now. Which had influenced me on how I would reaction.

However, God had taught me huge lesson through this, I cannot describe the words how God did this to me. He knew that would happen to me. It's tough for me to understand why, since I LOVE LOVE LOVE this job! I believe God was saving me from being hurt by the company later on- not sure!

(Wrote this on Sunday (3/11), posted it today)

More coming.....

One Year @ Snap!Vrs

Whoot! That's right I have been here at Snap!Vrs for a year since March 3/4th. This job is pretty much my most recently and longest steady job i have had. I have been having odd jobs since senior in high school, those doesn't count.

The first person I Thank about this Job is the Lord, he provided me this job through his willing. I am speechless because it's not easy to find a job that you really appreciated and not sick of it. Plus I have a Faithful manger whos has the same belief as me. Even have some member on the team who are Jesus Followers, as well. It totally makes my job more comfortable and less stressful.
However, I have noticed that I have not compliant in the morning about have to go into work like this... "Ughh i gotta go to work -blahh!" Am always joyful going to work because I know God had provide me this job by his will!

Gotta tell you the team is wonderful, they are always on my back and make sure everything is going well. We work together as team. It's not easy to find a job that is like this. We would joke, tease, share life experiences, and much more. We have been through rough times but we all are positive and upbeat about working at the company.

The Lord is good, he provided me a wonderful team to work with that helped me to stay here longer.

Half of the Team
